Annual notarized affidavit/unsworn declaration to local superintendent by August 1
Annual Assessment
Annual portfolio review by licensed PA teacher (2+ yrs exp), licensed psychologist, or nonpublic school teacher (2+ yrs exp); standardized test required in grades 3, 5, and 8
Minimum Instruction
180 days/year / 900 hours/year
Teacher Qualifications
Supervisor must have a high school diploma or GED
990 hours for grades 7–12. Portfolio: log, work samples, test results. Evaluator certification submitted to superintendent by June 30. Parent cannot administer the standardized test.
